Paris Post: Photos from September 13

October 29, 2009

Trip to the Marais and the Jewish quarter, for the world famous falafel. This is our best ‘celebration’ meal. I think we were celebrating our apartment in Montreal being rented (which has since fallen through, anyone need to rent a lovely furnished apartment in Montreal?).

Because the restaurant is closed on Saturday, we visited on Sunday and the line-ups were long on the left for take out, and shorter on the right for eat in, which we did!

And here’s last year’s picture,
same restaurant was for sale then, too:DSC02695

THEN I was filming the last video for the Fabulous French Desserts cooking class, soft peach cake:

I may have to buy some frozen peaches and make this right now, I’m starving!

Vince, I don’t know what the restaurant is selling for — i could find out though :) Any investors out there? And you’re right, it would seem that I own two v-neck long sleeved shirts. One black from Old Navy, one brown cashmere from France…

really, i pick olives out of everything. i find them very hard to eat, even when i need to be polite and eat what’s served to me. like, my worst nightmare is tapenade…

Love the pics; can almost imagine I’m there. Like the new hairdo; bangs are instant botox for the over 40. (Sorry to comment on your appearance, but you are asking for it, in a way. :)

irm, i’ve been growing out the worst haircut of my entire life (which happened back in March) and the bangs are a bad remainder of the bad-badness. Long bangs are fine, but I can show you how bad i look with real bangs and a shaggy hair cut, here:

Love the falafel at L’as Du Fallafel, no matter how it is spelled.

And I shortened my bangs yesterday. I can’t stand them poking me in the eye. My twinkly wrinkles are at the sides of my eyes, and I don’t want to cover them up. You, my dear, are too young for wrinkles.

linda, you’re right, i’m too young for wrinkles – especially if the light is right and you’re looking at me from far away and you squint at the same time :)
